We prefer not to wether young bucklings until a minimum of 5-6 months of age. Wethering stops production of the hormones required to mature the urinary tract resulting in a much higher incidence of urinary calculi which can require veterinary intervention and be life threatening.

Both registries (MGR and MSFGA) require you to become a member and pay a membership fee in order to transfer your new goats to your name. If you do not wish to have your goats registered the price will be discounted $100. Some of our MGR kids are crosses and will have the "silky look" without the silky (MSFGA) registration. Proud to say that all of our MSFGA registered goats are purebred and not from "foundation" stock.

Goats are herd animals and instinctively desire to be with another goat. An only goat is a lonely goat. It is never recommended to have a single goat. All kids will be vaccinated twice, dewormed, and treated preventatively for external parasites.
